Born to German parents on a farm in Namibia, with over 30 years of travel and off-road safari experience, your host Carl List has sufficiant knowledge of Southern Africa. Carl and his wife, Annegret, have managed various businesses, their farm Asgard, and accommodation establishments - Asgard B&B in Namibia and Asgard Apartments in South Africa.
He is experienced in Advanced Driving, First Aid, Mechanics, Administration, Hospitality and Conservation , has been a private Pilot, Motorcyclist and Off-Road enthusiast, but settled on responsible Touring and Conservation.
Carl speaks 3 languages fluently (English, Afrikaans and German). Carl is registered as “4WD Trails and Overland Tourist Guide” and member of the “4WD Guide Association” who's objective is to be sensitive and socially responsible.
