 Guided and/or selfdrive Expeditions (up to ± 21 days), best on below sheduled dates from May to August (except during the 2010 World Cup) to South Africa Overland and cross border to Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. Expeditions of this nature can cover up to 6000km. It is recommend to keep driving hours at a comfortable level and include periods of rest. This period is ideal because temperatures are moderate but cool at night with almost no rainfall (except the Western Cape).

14 to 21 days is the minimum required to include popular neighbouring countries. Should you prefer to relax and do some game/bird watching on this expedition, we recommend to add some days for leisure. Expeditions are traditionally done with 4WD's to experience the typical african safari style of travel. On expeditions into remote, rural and unmapped areas we employ the latest GPS navigation equipment and satelite phones for emergency calls.
Budget Price Estimates are per Person per Day sharing accomodation for 10 or more days on a guided expedition with a maximum of five vehicles, the minimum depending on the route chosen. Some routes require a minimum of two vehicles for safety reasons. Expeditions are a mix of Camping, tented Camps, Chalets and Lodges with meals catered for at the Establishments, Restaurants and Team catering at Camps. Depending on your choice of seasons, accommodation and transport, these prices estimates may increase or decrease.
